If you’re stuck for plans for this (hopefully) sunny bank holiday, The Big Feastival is back in Kingham this weekend, so don’t forget to book the best luxury travel Gloucestershire has to offer to get you there.
The event, hosted by former Blur bassist and celebrity foodie Alex James, promises to be bigger and better than ever with a whole host of his famous friends set to make an appearance.
According to the Evening Standard, the likes of Olly Murs, Madness and new Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith are all set to make an appearance at Alex’s Cotswolds farm, where he hosts the festival.
The famous cheese-maker explained that as more and more festivals launch in the UK, you simply have to keep pushing the boat out. The festival is now in its 6th year, and he describes that the line-up has gone from one A4 sheet of paper to a whole phone directory in that time.
As well as top chefs cooking up a storm at the festival, chart-topping musicians will be performing, making it a perfect day out for the whole family.
Alex thinks its the perfect event for those who used to listen to Blue back in their heyday who would: “still want to jump up and down but probably want to eat nice Lobster and chips and have a glass of bubbly and have nice toilets.”
Tickets are still available at The Big Feastival website, with a full weekend ticket costing just under £190 for the whole weekend.
